Finding Strength in Healing: A Community Conversation

When disaster strikes, whether it’s the LA Wildfires, sudden job loss, or other unexpected hardships – our instinct is often to believe that everything will be okay.  We assume we’ll return to life as we know it, only to realize that the impact runs much deeper.  True resilience begins when we acknowledge our losses and embark on the journey of healing.

Join us for an afternoon dedicated to exploring resilience, healing and the power of community.

Our special guests will share their personal experiences and insights:

  • Jane Seymour and Joe Lando will reflect on the profound loss of Joe’s family home in the LA wildfires, their time on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, the enduring strength of their decades-long friendship, and the unwavering support they’ve provided one another through life’s challenges.

  • Dr. Lori Baudino will offer expert guidance on navigating trauma and the path to healing, providing valuable tools for moving forward.

This conversation will be moderated by the Open Hearts Foundation’s Board Chair, Tim Mallad, ensuring a thoughtful and engaging discussion.

In addition, we are excited to share a glimpse of our new programming in partnership with our nonprofit partners.  All funds raised from this event will support the Open Hearts Foundation and its initiatives, helping us expand our efforts to foster healing in our community.

The event will conclude with a Q & A session, offering attendees in-person and virtually the opportunity to engage with our speakers and deepen their understanding of healing and recovery.

We invite you to be a part of this meaningful event!
