Announcing our new Executive Director!

TRENA PITCHFORD

14, October 2019

On behalf of the entire Board of Directors for the Open Hearts Foundation, we are thrilled to announce the appointment of our new Executive Director, Trena Pitchford.

Trena comes to the Open Hearts Foundation from the Burbank Arts for All Foundation where she served as the Executive Director for over eight years. She is an executive and creative strategist who has worked in both for-profit and for-purpose organizations with a strong acumen to achieve goals through collaborative leadership, program innovation, and transparent fiscal management.

For the past fifteen years, she has combined her expertise with her desire to serve others in need at organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles, LA Stage Alliance, and the Petersen Automotive Museum. In these roles, she has designed and successfully implemented action plans, lead teams of staff or volunteers to victory, and produced philanthropic opportunities for donors and constituents. Throughout her career, Pitchford has been invited to speak on panels and participate in local, regional, and state level task forces for Southern California Leadership Network, Create CA, and Arts for LA, among others.

The Board is looking forward to partnering with Trena to further grow the impact that the Open Hearts Foundation can have on our awardees, the people they serve, and our communities. We hope many of you will have a chance to meet Trena in person at our next Gala celebrating the Foundation's 10th Year Anniversary and the birthday of our Founder, Jane Seymour, at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, on Saturday, February 15, 2020.

Please feel free to welcome Trena or connect with the Open Hearts Foundation at: trena@openheartsfoundation.org.

With much gratitude,

Jane Seymour, Founder & Board Member
