THE OPEN HEARTS AWARD

The Open Hearts Award honors individuals who have risen above their own life challenges to truly help and reach out to others in need.  The award is based on the open hearted philosophy of our co-founder Jane Seymour’s mother, Mieke Frankenberg.  Mieke moved past her own horrific experience as a World War II internment camp survivor and dedicated her life to helping others cope with adversity.  The Open Hearts Award recipients have dedicated significant time and resources to nonprofits across the United States.
